In my work as a Clinical Psychologist, I value building an authentic therapeutic relationship where people feel safe to explore parts of their inner world in a non-judgemental and empathic space. I work from a collaborative, person-centred approach, to help people develop a deeper understanding of themselves and underlying patterns that may be causing emotional suffering. I'm most passionate about working with my clients to achieve emotional wellbeing, with the aim of lasting change.
I have experience working with adults and young people experiencing a range of emotional difficulties across both public and private settings. I completed my Master of Clinical Psychology at The University of Melbourne and work from an integrative approach, having undertaken training in the following modalities:
Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP)
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Attachment Based Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
I'm also a Board-Approved Supervisor, and provide clinical supervision for provisional psychologists, general psychologists and clinical psychology registrars working towards practice endorsement.
